The information that you will be expected to know to pass the exams is included in the knowledge expectations. Knowledge expectations define the basic background information PCAs need to make a pest control recommendation in a specific licensing category.

Meeting knowledge expectations will require recalling facts, comprehending information, applying knowledge, and analyzing situations. All PCAs will be expected to meet specified knowledge expectations for integrated pest management. Knowledge of IPM will be tested in the general principles/laws and regulations exam as well as in the individual licensing categories.

Use knowledge expectations to study and prepare for the licensing exams. If you can answer all of the questions listed in the knowledge expectations, you are probably ready for the exam.
