What is RSS?
RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication." It's an easy way for you to keep up with news and information that's important to you and helps you avoid the conventional methods of browsing or searching for information on Web sites. This content is called a feed.
An RSS feed usually is designated by icons such as that appear in your browser's URL bar or on a page with feeds.
Why should I subscribe?
Using RSS feeds is an easy way to stay informed of changes to the UC IPM Web site without cluttering up your e-mail. You save time, because you don't need to browse the site for new content.
How do I subscribe to an RSS feed?
- Begin by clicking on any RSS link (above) or RSS feed icon with your browser, or drag and drop an RSS icon to your RSS reader.
- A dedicated RSS reader will have more advanced features and options than browser-based feed readers. Numerous readers are available for download on the Web.
- Once you subscribe to a feed, headlines are available in your browser or reader. When you see a headline that interests you, just select the link to view the full article.
