IPM program regroups at Second Street

UC IPM's Davis-based employees moved to ANR's new home in Davis in November. IPM joins the Youth, Family and Community and Statewide Master Gardener programs, ANR Research and Extension Centers, Communication Services and Information Technology, and several other administrative units that support ANR programs.

IPM administration and information technology staff have been located on the main UC Davis campus since the program started in 1980, but the publications and training employees have always worked in older facilities on the research farm west of campus.

Director Kassim Al-Khatib expects that getting together in one modern facility will "make our work easier and more productive. Also, with ANR administrative and statewide program staff co-located in one building, we will be able to work more efficiently to meet the needs of Californians statewide."
