Use an aspirator to collect tiny or delicate insects from plants or surfaces for identification. Bend two copper tubes that fit snugly into a two-holed cork or cap. Place a screen over the inside of the sharply bent tube (top) to prevent insects from being sucked out of the container and through the tube into the user's lungs; attach a flexible hose to the outside of that tube. Draw insects into the container by placing the outside of the unscreened tube near the insect and sucking through the hose.
