Small bait trap used for driedfruit beetles, Carpophilus hemipterus.

Illustration of a driedfruit beetle small bait trap. Left-hand side shows individual partys of the trap. Top layer is an inverted cone with a 4 cm diameter mesh in the center. There is a hole in the bottom of the mesh. The next layer is a 6 cm high cylindrical insect receptaclewith a small square strip on the side. It is labeled a vapona strip. The bottom layer is a 15 cm high bucket with a 15 cm diameter opening. On the right side of the illustration shows the entire trap put together with a bent wire hanger attached.
