September 1998: Call for Proposals for 1999-2000 research projects sent out.

January 5, 1999: Progress reports due for all project funded in 1998-99.

January 15, 1999: Deadline for receipt of new research proposals.

January 25, 1999: Final reports due for all projects that ended June 1998.

February - early March 1999: IPM Workgroups meet to review new proposals.

March 1999: Technical committee meets in Davis to recommend 1999-2000 funding for new proposals.

April 1999: Final funding decisions made and principal investigators notified.

July 1, 1999: Funding for 1999-2000 begins.
