How to Manage Pests

The UC Guide to Healthy Lawns

Hose-end Sprayers

Liquid fertilizers or water-soluble materials can be applied with a hose-end sprayer. Water flowing from your hose mixes with the fertilizer in the attached spray bottle. Hose-end sprayers are the least desirable application method. It is hard to obtain uniform coverage with hose-end sprayers and you have to refill your spray bottle several times before you have completed fertilizing the entire lawn.
