Pests in Gardens and Landscapes
Time to plant
Peas do best when grown during cool-weather periods. Warm weather shortens the harvest season. The
seeds are easy to grow because they will germinate at soil temperatures of 45° F. Most peas will tolerate
mild frosts.
In suitable climates, peas can be planted more than once a year for a continuous harvest.
