Plant Identification
Buddleja, or the butterfly bush, is an evergreen, semievergreen, or deciduous shrub known best for its flower color and fragrance. Flowers attract butterflies and are produced in clusters and may be purple, orange, red, or yellow.
Optimum conditions for growth
Buddlejas grow best in areas with full sun or partial shade. They require moderate to regular amounts of water and well-drained soil. Prune after bloom. They are grown in containers or trained up into small trees.
