Pests in Gardens and Landscapes

Sunburn

Leaves burn and fall off. Exposed upper branches become burned and die back.

Solutions

Sunburn generally occurs in years when a heavy load of fruit is set and potassium reserves are depleted. A soil or foliar application of nitrogen will compensate for this.
