Harvesting and storing apricots
Apricots are best harvested when they are fully ripe
on the tree. Some varieties will ripen fruit over a 3-week
period so harvest as the fruit is ready. Pick fruit when
it is yellow and starting to soften, yet is still firm.
Fruit will keep for about 1 to 3 weeks if stored in
a cool location. |
