How to Manage Pests

Pests in Gardens and Landscapes

Harvesting and storing apricots

Apricots are best harvested when they are fully ripe on the tree. Some varieties will ripen fruit over a 3-week period so harvest as the fruit is ready. Pick fruit when it is yellow and starting to soften, yet is still firm. Fruit will keep for about 1 to 3 weeks if stored in a cool location.
