Seasonal development of citrus thrips on navel orange in the San Joaquin Valley. Citrus thrips produce up to 8 generations if the weather is favorable, but the most important generation is the second (2) because it scars the small fruit until they are about 4 cm ( 1 1/2 inch) in diameter (red shaded area).
