Calculate Expected Square/Fruit Retention

To find the expected square/fruit retention, evaluate results from your lygus and square/fruit retention sampling. The values you need are:

  • Total number of fruiting branches.
  • Percent fruit retention on both the bottom and top 5 fruiting branches.

This calculator will compare your sampled percent retention for the top 5 first position squares with an expected value based on research.
