Eutypa dieback
Identification tip: Eutypa causes limbs or twigs to wilt and die suddenly in late spring or summer with the leaves still attached.

Eutypa dieback wood symptoms
Identification tip: Infected areas in the interior of the wood are discolored brown.

Identification tip: Symptoms include amber-colored gumming and wood discoloration.

Brown rot blossom and twig blight
Identification tip: Look for dying shoots with wilted leaves. Leaves will continue to cling to the dead shoot throughout the following season.

Identification tip: Look for emergence holes in the bark.
