New Natural Enemies Field Guide

Natural Enemies Guide

Entomology/IPM Advisor Vonny Barlow authored a field guide for natural enemies common in southwestern field crops. The guide covers descriptions and the life cycle of beneficial mites, spiders, and insects. Large, close up photographs aid identification.

Barlow shares authorship with extension scientists from Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas. Books were distributed for free to local pest control advisers. This field guide aids the pest management professional with the proper identification and conservation of natural enemies commonly encountered in the field. This project was funded in part from USDA NIFA through a grant from the Western IPM Center.
