Honors and Awards

  • In recognition of her career-long contributions to the University’s mission, the UC Davis Academic Federation selected Extension Specialist Mary Louise Flint as the recipient of the 2014 James H. Meyer Distinguished Achievement Award, the Federation’s highest honor.
  • IPM Advisor Jim Stapleton was the Associate Editor and IPM Advisor Emeritus Carolyn Pickel was an author of the Prune Production Manual, which received the 2014 Outstanding Book Award from the American Society for Horticultural Science Extension Division in its Outstanding Educational Materials category.
  • UC Agriculture and Natural Resources presented Karey Windbiel-Rojas with its Staff Appreciation and Recognition (STAR) award. She was recognized for her exceptional performance, creativity, organizational ability, work success, and teamwork.
