Why Is the Postharvest Period Important in an IPM Program?
The postharvest period is important for determining if oriental
fruit moth and peach twig borer populations are beginning to
build,
especially if the oriental fruit moth mating disruption is breaking
down. Also, continue to monitor populations of San Jose scale and
webspinning spider mites. If shot hole is appearing, monitor
to determine the need for treatment.
