Catfacing on tomatoes
Fruit may be disfigured as they form; blossom sticks to the small fruits. Blossom ends are scarred or
lumped. Deep cavities penetrate the fruit.
SolutionsCool and cloudy weather at bloom time cause this disorder. Catfacing may also result from an early
harvest on certain varieties. There may be resistant varieties in your area.
