Grants Programs: UC Exotic/Invasive Pests and Diseases Research Program

UC IPM and the UC Riverside Center for Invasive Species Research supported projects that addressed exotic pests and diseases/invasive species in agricultural, urban, or natural environments.

The program was funded through Special Research Grants from USDA. These grants are Congressional earmarks that were not renewed. However, UC ANR will continue to seek funding for similar grants programs and will post announcements as new information is available.

The Exotics Program funded researchers working on more than 100 projects that address more than 100 pest problems in nine disciplines.
