Plant Description
Lavender has attractive gray-green foliage with bright, long lasting blooms. It is a drought-tolerant perennial shrub, grown for cut flowers or used for fragrance, herbal tea, baked goods and other culinary uses. Lavender is an aromatic plant best grown in full sun and is suited to areas with warm, dry summers and cool, rainy winters. Numerous cultivars are available and are often categorized as English, French, or Spanish lavenders.
