Fruit with false wart is misshapen with raised bumps on the surface. Symptoms develop on only a few fruit on a given tree and are not confined to one branch or spur. Usually there is only one warty growth on a fruit and the growth often has hard tissue in the center that resembles the surface of the pit.
Solutions
False wart is not caused by an infectious agent. No controls are needed.
