Wilen recognized by nurseries association for her research

Area IPM Advisor Cheryl Wilen received the Research Award from the California Association of Nurseries and Garden Centers (CANGC). CANGC is a trade organization that promotes and protects the California nursery industry.

The award recognizes Wilen’s work on pests that affect the California nursery and landscape industry. Wilen’s research and outreach efforts focus on IPM solutions for pests such as weeds, snails, and slugs in ornamental plant production, nurseries, greenhouses, field production areas, floriculture, turf, and landscapes.
